Last Day at 1Pharmacy Network: A Chapter That Will Always Stay with Me

Life is a journey. And in this journey, I often have to change my home... stay at one place for a while, then move ahead toward my destiny.

As we say in Hindi, "Aasmaan mein udne wale parinde ghoslon se dil nahi lagaya karte." (Birds that fly in the sky don't attach their hearts to nests.)

But the heart is still the heart... it gets attached, no matter how strong you try to be.

This is just a glimpse of one small chapter in my long, eternal journey.

A Farewell I Never Expected

That day, I was genuinely happy... but by evening, I found myself deeply emotional. It was my last day at 1Pharmacy Network.

I never imagined that my farewell would be so warm, so grand, and so full of love. People had resigned before me, but nothing like this had ever happened. Dinner was arranged, cake was brought, laughter filled the room... and suddenly, it hit me... this place mattered.

I was asked to say a few words.

I hadn't prepared anything. No script. No planning. Just honesty.

I shared how this was my second company, how I joined with very limited experience, how my skills were still raw. I spoke about how much I learned here... far more than I ever imagined. I spoke about putting my heart and soul into everything I do, and how that mindset shaped not only my professional growth, but my personal life as well.

I wasn't actively searching for change. Life brought an opportunity on its own. And sometimes, growth demands movement.

I also shared something close to my heart...

Before entering IT, I had heard stories about politics, credit stealing, and unhealthy competition. But here, I found friends. People I laughed with... struggled with... grew with. These moments are priceless. Just like childhood memories, these moments will always stay with me.

A tree standing tall today was once just a seed. If tomorrow I grow into something bigger, with my own team or venture, the phase where that seed began turning into a sapling will always belong to this place.

Lessons Beyond Code

This journey wasn't only about projects or features. There came a time when I handled an entire project on my own. And with responsibility, ego sometimes quietly enters the mind.

It happened to me too.

But awareness followed. I learned to recognize it, suppress it, and grow beyond it. I'm still trying to become a better human being every day. And I believe that's what life truly is... an ongoing process of learning, failing, reflecting, and improving.

I also expressed my gratitude to a leader who trusted me, gave me freedom, and allowed me to bring out my best.

What My Colleagues Taught Me About Myself

After that, one by one, people spoke about me.

They spoke about growth... about improvement... about hunger for learning. Someone mentioned how communication was once a barrier, how misunderstandings happened, how mistakes were made... and how, over time, everything changed. Language improved. Confidence grew. Understanding deepened.

Others spoke about dedication, ownership, persistence, and passion. About never giving up. About delivering what was promised. About sincerity.

One moment stayed with me deeply... Even on my last day, I was fully focused on work. I wasn't counting hours or formalities. I was simply doing what I always did... giving my best.

Another leader said something that touched my heart... "This is a family. You can always come back."

Work isn't just about tasks and deadlines. It's about the people you share your days with. The team at 1Pharmacy wasn't just colleagues... they were friends, mentors, and companions in this journey.

There were countless moments of laughter, silly jokes during lunch breaks, late-night debugging sessions that somehow became fun, celebrations for small wins, and the quiet support during tough days. These beautiful people made every challenge lighter and every success sweeter.

Some bonds go beyond professional relationships. They become memories that stay with you long after you've moved on. The warmth, the camaraderie, the genuine care... these are the things that turn a workplace into a second home.

As the day ended, emotions surfaced.

People I worked with every day. The cook who had no idea I was leaving and hugged me when he found out. People who stay away from their families year after year, working hard for modest means, yet showing nothing but kindness.

I realized something important... Success means nothing if gratitude is missing.

Before leaving, I promised myself to give back in small ways. Because sometimes, a small gesture carries more value than big words.

Moving Forward, Carrying Everything With Me

I am deeply grateful for this company, this team, and this phase of life. I've learned immensely here... not just professionally, but as a human being.

To grow further, I had to move on. Staying would have been comfortable... but growth often lies beyond comfort.

This chapter has ended... but its impact will remain.
